As a fitness trainer, I am usually the one holding the container and supporting others. But with Sukanya, all those labels melted. Working with her feels like working with Earth. There was this immediate safety, the kind you only feel with an old friend. The shoot itself became a blur, secondary to the depth of our conversations. She really listens, always tells it as it is without mincing words and that really made being vulnerable feel less heavy and more light-hearted and humorous that I had to clutch my heart with all the laughs. For the first time, I could open up and own my story.

I walked into our session guarded, but left with my first full exhale in years. Her sessions and somatic methods are a total nervous system reset that brought back my restorative sleep. What really surprised me is the change that sustained. It's created this whole new rhythm that follows me into my classes, how I fill my own cup and nourish others. I feel a deeper guidance at play and anything I do now has this dash of devotion to it - simply because Sukanya helped me taste that faith for myself.​ On top of the personal healing, the photos she took are powerful. Those visuals helped me align with the clients I dreamt of and opened up newer possibilities. From being told overnight success compounds from consistency, to actually seeing it, I have no doubt it was this steady inner anchor that changed everything for me.

I hadn’t allowed myself to be seen so clearly before, partly out of vanity, but mostly a lingering self-consciousness. Anyone can snap a photo, but Sukanya truly beholds you, capturing who you deeply are and not just your image with such genuine warmth that you can’t help but start looking at yourself through that same lens of love. Even three years later, these photographs remain a gift that keeps giving. I am truly honoured to be photographed by her and I pray everyone gets to experience this delightful work firsthand.
